Picked up a '65 P.L. set for $25. I told the dealer it melts at $44. Said he didn't care, wanted to sell it, he was still making a profit. When I got home and peeled off his price sticker, saw $7.50 written in pen, it was altered to read $9.50. So I guess he was truthin', and we both came away happy.

Picked up 5 Morgans, Canada 1961 quarter, UK 1921 sixpence, and this hard times token https://goccf.com/t/93784 for $135. They are not all Canadian, but I still got a good deal

Interesting cdcoinman, email me or post a photo of the coin when it arrives? Hugh Powell's coin has massive eye-appeal, but he wants $3500 for it... I almost bit on that hook at the last show... Note that in the past two years, the ICCS pop report went from 2 to 7. I wonder if some MS-65 PCGS Red-Brown coins are getting cracked out, since ICCS is much less restrictive at what they call "Red".

Still a decent find though, considering that problem-free VFs trend at $2000.

Not a beauty, but a desirable coin nonetheless How did you know it was A/V from the ebay photos? Are there other markers,or did you take a chance?

Nice catch Zonad...that one slipped my radar, otherwise I'd have sniped you :)...
You can see the A/V in the seller's photo...barely...but its there :).
Nicely done...I can see someone paying $500-600 for that one, easily
