I've just picked up two more 1891 SD large cents for under $30 each. I don't have them yet but the one should go VF. Two weeks ago I picked up one of my favourite large cent varieties - an 1891 Handle on C in crisp VF condition. It's a great coin. It was hiding in a poor pic amongst a small group I got for under $10 on ebay.

Hi there. I was sorting some nickels I picked up from the bank last week and was shocked to find a 1953 NSF near leaf/design. That trip was worth the walk!

Found a 1964 dime and quarter in the work coffee fund this week. Promptly exchanged them for two others in my pocket. So, at 25 cents a cup for coffee, I just got 40 free cups of coffee!

cdcoinman was that the one in the recent Torex auction, or the one Hugh Powell has had in his display case for over a year now? The latter has fantastic eye-appeal, but I had to say no to that coin, for an awesome nickel dollar error instead (Feb 2011 Torex).

I got all the silver I found in rolls for the past few weeks and traded it in for a 1/10 ounce AGE. I paid a grand total of $6.50. I had been a silver-only guy until now. I had to get at least a little gold!

Thought I had the deal of the year recently Advertised as "103 five cents,1896-1912,all dates readable,$15" The seller wasn't misleading,I wasn't thinking, In Canada we're talking Canadian, right? I now have 103 Liberty nickels, and think I'll run another contest on this forum to get rid of them.
