Poll Question
We all have heard of 'em, some of us love 'em and some of us hate 'em. We have our reasons why, and to some of us it's personal. However, this anonymous poll should tell us all who's luved and who's not soo luved!1 Vote for YOUR ALL TIME FAVOURITE..............and let us all know why! Glenn

I doubt there are many here who have experienced all 15 dealers. Many long established and reputable dealers are missing from your list. And never even heard of East coin coins.

I used to go into JM all the time, now I can't go into ANYPLACE. There's literally nothing within 50 miles except the post office where you can buy a coin and we all know how much I love NCLT :/ .
Though I used to get a little nervous where JM was located... I bought four 1oz plats there once and it was a nervous walk back to my car....

There are at least four dealers in your list, that I regularly buy from or consign coins for sale. Your list is far from complete though. For example, where is Newcan coins (Hugh Powell)?

I see that at this time East coin coin,a dealer that doesn't even exist is ahead by a wide margin So much for the validity of polls such as this

Canadian Coin and Currency is listed twice, will that affect your results?

As of May 15 I made a couple of small modifications. It was pointed out to me by some keen observers that I listed a dealer twice and I had typo on one name making it unknown. The Poll has now been reset, however, you must remember I can "only" enter 15 categories>MAXIMUM. So the 15 dealers you see all I can display. I chose some of the most popular that I've known over the years. Glenn

I have bought from Colonial Acres a few times, but I see you haven't listed George Manz Coins, I have bought from him lots of times.

It is easier to pigeonhole the specific dealers that I refuse to spend my money with, than to select an individual from a list that contains several dealers I know and respect. I'll refrain from the poll.

I notice since you edited the poll I can't revote and my original was lost anyhow.
SPP and DBM both bring up good points. Perhaps a nice rigorous but polite debate on who we won't do business with and who we like to buy certain things from.
We're all adults, keep it civil and we'll a have a thread full of useful information, get libelous and we'll have a locked/deleted thread useless as a reference for Q and A.
For example, I don't think I've ever bought a coin from them, but I buy all my supplies from Colonial online, super convenient for me and a reasonable selection. I really like shopping for coins in person, I don't really deviate from this unless it's for sub 100 dollar common items.

To me the Canadian Numismatic Company is the #1 choice here in Canada. They have it all common to the most rare of Canadian coins (with the exception of the 36 dot penny, dime and 1911 dollar of course). If you need it they will find it for you. Marc and Eric are class acts and super sociable. A real pleasure to deal with them. There are some other good ones in the list but to me these guys are the Heritage of Canada. I have 110% confidence when dealing with them and if not happy they will make sure to fix the situation and fast!

Matrix, your favorite dealer is my least favorite dealer.Sure they have a truly great selection of coins but IMO that's where it ends. One person's experience with a dealer is not neccessarily the same or even close to another's
