I voted for Sacagawea dollars because they only released these for circulation for 2 years. Plus, when they get circulated enough (that's a rarity ), they turn a very ugly brownish color.

BTW, it's Sacagawea. There's no "j". (Sorry, I'm a spelling freak)

You must be referring to those "first strike" MS or PR 70's.

Thanks 3 cent silver, when I typed your version it came up as an error and "Sacagawea" was the only correct spelling, so I figured I had spelled it wrong. But I trust you more than the internet spell check.

sba is to easy to complete. even though it rates as a top answer I wounder how many people that voted for it really have a completed set "in the closet"

Why would I want one? It's an ugly coin that will be worth all of $1 in 50 years.

I'm not wild about the Sacs or the Pres Dollars, either, but the SBA Dollars were a bad idea that failed miserably.

I voted Pres. Dollars. I took the question as what would I leave out if I had the chance to choose not what do I think the majority would leave out. I would accept any old coin but I'm up to date on the new ones so I choose the newest.

Eh...I'm really not a fan of plain looking old ladies or decrepit old men on coins. The US is not Europe alright? Let's go back to the tried and true standbys of beautiful works of art and symbols of freedom, thats what made US coins unique. Leave the complex sociological preachings to the textbooks.

Your welcome. I noticed that as well, so I decided to search it.

To all who voted for Eisenhower dollars...

Sorry jbuck, but someone mentioned it in the previous thread.

I winced when I typed it, thinking of you.

The Susan. I LOVE dollar coins but I'm not a huge fan of the susan. The only time I use it is when I want to stir up trouble at the checkout line . It just looks too much like a quarter and can't tell the difference whent they are in my pocket.
