Over but not forgotten
What an embarassment
My daughter(a great fan and still playing at 42)was there and said they could feel something bad was about to happen early in the third period, she and her husband headed back to their hotel at that time and most of the families were also leaving,I was relieved to hear that very few young children were caught up in that mess.

Glad to hear your family is safe. I feel terrible for the good people of Vancouver. From what I've heard they've rounded up many of the trouble makers and are making an effort to get as many as they can.

The Canucks are 5:1 favorites to win The Cup next year. My suggestion to ensure the peace is to not allow them in the playoffs. Just trying to help.

I hate the fact they put out favorites right after a season ends... I guess there is no offseason, free agency, trades, or a draft where teams can load up on new talent. On a good note thanks for the fun scurry this was the most fun I have had with a contest. I agree with you about just telling the Canucks to stay home next year, their performance in the Finals was horrible, how do you score 8 goals in 7 game series and actually have a chance to win the cup going into the seventh game?

Holy efficient US Postal Service, that was fast!

I'm afraid that won't be the case for DBM. I read yesterday that the Canadian postal workers went on strike and no mail is being allowed into the country from the US. Sorry DBM. Hopefully, this is a very short strike.

Here's a bit of free advice. Perhaps everyone but me knows this already, but if you ship a coin from the US to Canada and you declare the fact on the customs form, the coin must be shipped via registered mail. Registered mail, in this case, cost $11.50.

I asked the US postal worker "If I had said this was a button, could it have been sent First Class?" The answer was "Yes". I'm not suggesting that anyone violate Federal law. I'm just saying.
