Hello everyone,
My name is Melissa and I've just signed up to this forum today. For some reason when I first signed up (with this account), it said that there was an error so I signed up with another username (jonesy383). It seems that both usernames have been registered ....
Anyway, I've been collecting coins on and off for about 5 years but am looking to really get into collecting from now on. I also collect stamps. I'm looking forward to discussing Australian coins with everyone - this seems like a really good forum.

Hi Melissa, Welcom to our forum. There are some very knowledgable people here, so don't be afraid to ask questions. I too collect stamps as well as coins. What coins and stamps do you focus on? or do you collect anything that you can get your hands on, like me. If you haven't done so already, you might want to post a "hello" in the main forum also. Hi Steve,
Thanks for your welcome. My main speciality with coins is pre-decimal but I do tend to collect anything I can get my hands on. In terms of decimal coins, I like to collect the various $1s out there. My stamp collection is about 1000 times larger than my coin collection. I've got too many albums full of them ;)
