There is a lot of high caliber information and pictures in this thread. Just my humble opinion.
I do not deny that, this has been an excellent thread!

However, we have a lot of excellent threads. One of the benefits of this community is that we have a lot of great contributors.

That being said, if we stickied every thread of this caliber, we would have two full pages of stickies before reaching any new topics.

This is why I prefer the forum bookmark feature. Each member can "sticky" their own favourites for easy access.

Among my commemoratives I like the 2009 Linclon Bicentenial. I got one that wsa graded by PCGS and I made a display frame for it in a shadow box frame. I also put the Bunc 2009 linclon pennies in it and a 2010 Linclon Presidential dollar. I think it makes a nice display.

It is what the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles set would have been, had the Presidential dollar series started one year earlier.

Muddler how do you store these coins? Do you keep them in the original mint packaging?

Monedas, they are all in their original capsules with the majority in the mint boxes too. I haven't been comfortable exposing them to an album but without such a display viewing the entire set is beyond cumbersome. If there was an album that also kept the coins plastic case I would jump on the option.

Thanks! I'm think of starting a collection of modern half dollar commemoratives, and was wondering if some people kept them in the original boxes. Wish me luck!

I'd post my halves but I only have 10 or so of the halves. Maybe I should go ahead and post them anyways and everyone else can fill in the missing ones?

I have some of the halves, but far from complete. I concentrated more on the dollars. So a lot of my halves are the ones that came in the two pack OGP.
