High Grade 1960-D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC

I only paid maybe ms65 money for it (tough to say exactly - part of a lot). I was hoping that the grade was real and it might be worth trying to cross it to a PCGS slab. Report this Post to the Staff
desertgem Pillar of the Community United States 860 Posts	Posted 06/18/2011 9:04 pm Any estimate through a slab has a good chance of error so my comments should be taken as an opinion. I have sent over 30 1960-D varieties to PCGS and NGC in the last 2 years. This would appear to be a NGC 65 and a PCGS 64. A large number of these coins had die polish lines which can cause problems grading for scratches/lines as a die polish line can hide a scratch or if the graders is lax, a small die polish line can be thought improper cleaning ( NGC more than PCGS).
