Hello all. I'm not a note collector but on occasion I do look for radars and other types of collectable notes. Today I found this $50 Radar in my bank withdraw and I was wondering if it holds any premium value.

$50 Canada Radar
AHL7564657
Signatures: W. P. Jenkins (left) and D A Dodge (right)
Printed in 2006

I have included scans of front and back. I have no idea on grading notes. There is a slight fold line in the center running vertical.

Any opinions on if I should spend or if someone is interested in it let me know.

Thank you,
cladhunter13

The one or two digit numbered notes are the one's to watch for the three or four digit numbers don't really command a big premium unless they are crisp unc.

Thank you for the info. If the serial would of been sequenced 7654567...would that be different? I thought I remembered reading somewhere about count down or count up radars...or something along those lines. I can not remember if where I read it or if its just me losing my mind. LOL!

A One digit Radar? Would that not be a solid or whatever a single digit serial number bill is called?

Yes one digit is the best(1111111) solid number and the best one to try and get. but the two digit is good to like (2002002) that kind of a number.

That would make this note an Ascending/Descending ladder note. Which would be worth up to $425 in Unc. condition.

Cool find, especially when $50s aren't used much in daily transactions.
