I was at a market and a coin vendor had no fold 1979 Canadian $20 bills for $40. I don't know much about paper money, is double face value a fair price to pay.

, if is was a common three letter prefix, if it had a rarer three letter prefix, then it would be a good investment.

How do you know what a common or uncommon prefix is?

if the book value is in the hundreds what shoul I look at paying? I can offer $20 but don't think the guy would take it.
