Not many folks who live in Maryland today (I am one of them) realize that the Italian at the base of the State seal on the reverse translates in English to "Deeds are manly, Words are womanly". Imagine getting that placed on a USA coin in 2011.

And from what I've read, this issue often had mint issues related to Calvert's face. Once again, yours looks to be the better coin (although he appears to be smiling on my coin and more sour mouth on yours...)
