Nice spotting but you are absolutely right. The melt value on Peace dollars are around $26.00 a piece. I would not take a chance mostly because there is a lot of fakes and reproductions coming out of Hong Kong and China.

I would not buy that for any reason. He has no history of selling coins, all his feedback is for tote bags and $2 bracelets, he's in China and no feedback of any of those supposed sales. Run very fast.

What's to report? He hasn't done anything wrong...yet.
Nearly 750 feedbacks with a 99%. It says 90% silver in the description...you could alwways be covered as a "not as described" by ebay and paypal.

We all know this sale can't be 100 Peace dollars at $4.00 each, but here's what I think of the sale...

I feel he could be reported for the line "See the pictures of the actual coins you will receive" unless he only has 100 coins and each buyer gets ONE for the $399.99 price, he's not showing each buyer the coins that they will get.

In reading the description, the seller leaves his statements vague. I don't see anything that tells me if I bid the "Buy It Now" price that I get all 100 coins. All of his statements only refer to the fact that he has 100 Peace dollars.

100 ~ PEACE SILVER DOLLARS FIVE ROLLS! 90% SILVER < TRUE. I do see 100 Peace Silver Dollars. That's five rolls all 90% silver. Nothing says that I get them all.

100 PEACE ~ 1 PRICE ! < Does this say 100 for $399.99 or 100 at $399.99 each? It's not clear. Why does he use the tilde?

VARIETY OF DATES < I'm almost sure of this statement.

FREE SHIPPING ! < That's nice.

These Peace Silver Dollars are circulated, a nice way to collect 90% silver. < True.

A wonderful way to collect and invest! < True, but only if they are real.

See the pictures of the actual coins you will receive. < FRAUD! I need to see a photo of more than 3900 coins (so far) for this to be true, unless it's $399.99 for each coin.

*ONE HUNDRED Peace Silver Dollars < Again that's all he's showing, so what says he has more than 100 coins for sale? More Than 10? It that lots of 100 coins or just 1 coin? Nothing in this sale say one way or the other.

*FAST shipping < Subjective statement. What does he think FAST is? It could be 5 days or 45 days.

If he runs out of "Lots" at 100 sales, it will be clear that he only has 100 coins, but like I said before, WE ALL KNOW THIS SALE CAN'T BE FOR 100 Peace dollars AT $4.00 EACH! I think he's selling 100 fakes for $399.99, 100 real coins for $399.99 each or NOTHING and just trying to take the money and run.

But look--the guy has a 99% feedback rating. Certainly, that excludes the possibility of fraud.
He just has buckets of Peace dollars laying around, unaware of their true value.

Oh, great. Now I have to buy all of the lots left just to make sure. Thanks a lot. I'll either be rich or homeless after his "Fast Shipping."

I just ordered 56 lots at $22399.44, but I'll have 3 days to get an "EXCHANGE" as he doesn't offer money back. I'll just have to live in the 14,177 Hello Kitty bags he sends me IF the coins are bad.

People from china with different ebay names have been running the same auction for a while now. The Picture of the coins is actually stolen from a real auction at 1 point.

This could also be a hijacked ebay account. I ran into this a few years ago when looking for a specific computer - no - I did not get taken, but reported the auction and it was taken off (pronto) by ebay .

Tokenmast, the original sale in the first post is the one in question. He's from Hong Kong and selling 100 Peace dollars for $399.99 and has now sold 84 lots! How many ebay sellers from China have 10s of thousands of real Peace dollars just taking up space, so he has to sell them for $4 each? He has to be up to something.

The guy from Maryland with 11,000 sales looks to be honest, but has a poor photo of his product. He's selling 100 Peace dollars for $3,777.77 and only has one lot for sale.

I'd have to go the the "local" seller of the two.
