Bent On Bust Half - Coin Community Forum

TJsCoins Pillar of the Community United States 3229 Posts	Posted 06/26/2011 1:30 pm Walked into the coin shop last week and found this Capped Bust half dollar in a $29.00 bin. I know it has been cleaned & obviously damaged (run over by: by a horse and buggy; steel wheeled tractor?), but the coin's details and character won me over. What do you think the grade is? What would you think the value is; as damaged as it is? Anyone else out drawn the coins with "Character"? Report this Post to the Staff

Not familiar with grading the bust halves but would have to grade the details at XF. My opinion of course. I would of paid that in a heart beat.
