You actually cracked the safe open, but you triggered the alarm. You were not able to completely empty the safe. But, you you did manage to escape with this:

Great game Scooby. Wish I could have participated more.
And harrison2, you were about 1 minute ahead of me on posting that answer. Nice work, good timing.

Thanks for playing everybody!

I usually put a little more thought into the clues than I did this time and I apologize for that. I've been spreading myself a little thin trying to get too much done at once.

Look for a mindbender of epic proportions a little later in the week that WILL NOT be for the faint of heart! You'll earn that prize!

And on a lighter note, I'll try to host another Mastermind next weekend.

Thanks for hosting this game Scooby!...it was quite an introduction to a good "thinking" game and I'm glad my efforts paid off, I was getting pretty worred about being on the wrong track!!

Great Job Harrison2, Scoob thank you for a very fun and challenging game. I filled out a few sheets of paper working out this answer. It was frustrating, But I enjoyed it. So Thank You.

and just for the record the last possible option was 19-89-76. I had the sequence down 2 days ago but at the time there were way more choices for that last digit (and I got sucked into that whole 89-xx-14 mob scene)....and thus my aaaahhhh earlier today. I knew it would not get back to midnight for another guess.
thanks scooby for another great game.

rikcando, well, I was counting on you and weavus to be on the right trail. Glad you came up with the right answer, but sorry I beat you by a minute...that's tough!

Weavus, that hurts! I was getting pretty frustrated myself and figured I had better lay low until some clarity came to bare. The 89-xx-14 was killing me too...but once Scooby cleared up the "three clicks on one page" thing, it was a bit easier to let it go. Tell you the truth, I figured you'd beat me from the quality of your guesses.

98 was one of those numbers eliminated in one of the two major "no click" groups..

Could you please elaborate on this. I cannot find where 98 would have been eliminated. Page# maybe? thanks in advance.
