what do you guys think. it looks like MD to me but I want to make sure before I toss it. The 5 on it is whats got me curious. in hand I see nice separation on the top part. the spot on the mm looks more like a hit than MD

It is MD and there is a filled "B" in LIBERTY also.

Wouldn't you still keep a coin with that much MD?
I know I would, but then again I like the idea of building coin albums with all PMD or ugly coins and other garbage.

Machine Doubling and a broken post in the lower b on LIBERTY. A filled die would obliterate the device/devices fully/partially. A broken post leaves that area un formed during the strike.
