The mint's direct ship program for the small dollars has been pretty weak recently, they were down to 3 different coins.

I checked again today and they seem to have restocked. Currently there are:
2011 Native American
2001 Sacagawea
John Adams
George Washington
Franklin Pierce
James Madison

If anyone orders some, let us know what mint marks you get.

I ordered the 2011 Native American - trying to find the D mint ones. Have been getting them since the beginning of the year and they were ALL P mint rolls. I hope that I'll eventually get a D mint box.

I don't know why they keep restocking this with the first 4 - 8 presidents. I see they do have Pierce this time, but I don't see why they don't put the previous year out there. I know there are boxes of them all just sitting in storage.

This makes me want to try again and order $250 in 2001 Sacagaweas. My first attempt, back in April, resulted in a damaged package and a refund, so I bought 10 George Washington rolls at a local bank instead.

I need the Native American 2011-D also. And if they're putting 2001 out there, why not put up 2010-P&D and 2009-P&D?

They made a boatload of the first 4 presidents. Washington had a run of 340 million so you will see those for a long, long time.

For a little while in January they had all of last years coins on direct ship, most only lasted a couple of weeks. I'd guess that although they have lots of the coins, they probably aren't rolled.

I'm hoping we'll get reports of the Native American D mint, I'd order a box of those.

Are the coins being shipped uncirculated?

Yes, you pick the coin, they send you 10 rolls of the same coin, all uncirculated, but they are often heavily bag marked. The rolls have the president's name printed on the wrapper, just like the ones you get from the bank. (the 2001 Sac's come in yellow and blue wrappers). No indication of the mint mark until you open the roll and look, every order I have received has been the same mint mark for the whole order.

Should have gotten at least TWO Abe shipments in January, but I don't recall the window stretching the full 10 days in order for another direct ship purchase... Spent them all in about 10 days since a few cashiers wanted all that I had. Just waiting for the '11 coins to make an appearance.

They didn't have many boxes. George Washington, John Adams, Franklin Pierce, and Sacagawea 2001 are sold out again.
