I sometimes come across worn flat Sestertii. They were solid brass - it took a good few centuries of circulation to do that to them.

I wouldn't bother with this if it wasn't one of the only three known examples ... but it kinda fits the bill! Shilling of Charles I from around June 1635. Spink 2793 Sharp E1/3 The plume above the shield on the reverse shows it was struck from silver mined in Wales. Just enough detail to show it's obverse #1 rather than the commoner obv #2.  .

I notice on various posts throughout the forum that a number of members actual collect PO01 US coins because of their historical interest. Do collectors also like collecting the worn copper and brass coins?

Not sure if this is the worst, but it is certainly one in the league:  In case you don't recognise it, the obverse is the left picture.
