I have tried to take pictures of this coin but for the life of me I cannot get a picture that does this coin justice. It is a 2006 Lincoln Cent. The obverse and reverse have this gorgeous toning. Electric blues, purples, oranges, and pinks. It is a really cool looking coin. What causes this? It is truly a really great looking coin. Does it have any added value? I found it coin roll hunting this morning
I have of few like that. I dont think there is any extra value other than a cent, but I keep them cause they look cool. What picture editing software do you use? I know that with GIMP 2 you can adjust white balance and stuff, so if the pic doesn't look like the coin you can mess with the color balance until it looks like the coin itself. Oh, and GIMP is free too.
