I was out and I found this 56' nickle. While looking at it through the loop I notice something going on with the "R" in GRATIA

At first I thought it was a scratch but looking at it more I don't think it is, Please help me figure it out.

I think Nova is referring to the vertical indent? running down the middle of the Left vertical of the R?

Yes it's the vertical line that's running in the "R" I looked at it and seems to straight to be a scratch. Just curious as to what it is? Thanks for helping out I really appreciate it!!
