Banker! well.. sort of. I work for a bank in a call center, so there isn't any money in my building to play with. Probably a good thing.. at least I can get SOME work done.

Almost eight years active duty Air Force C-130 crew chief then changed careers to Fed law enforcement where I've been for almost eight years now. I've only been collecting for a few months but the bug has bit for sure! This is a great website with lots of friendly and knowledgable folks.

I work in a care home for people with disabilities.
Doesn't pay much, but I never need to worry about having to take my work home, the shift pattern means I get time off during the week and where I work is walking distance from home, so no transport costs.
Doesn't really tie in with my previous jobs as medical researcher, artist and administrator for a professional association, but I'm cool with that.

I'm a college professor and the department chair of computer science. I'm also a software developer and owned a small consulting business for many years. I recently retired from teaching, but then was rehired part time.

I teach at College......social and political science...I only scrape by doing that 4 days per week. For coin money I teach on Skype video call and do some editing. My father named me Julian in the mid 60's as he hoped I'd grow up to be a rock star or something....never mind....

Great thread here. Have really enjoyed reading these today. I went to the Merchant Marine Academy, sailed on ships for a few years. Started an aquarium/fish business sold that and currently have worked on and off in China for over a decade. So to the youngsters reading this, your career path may not always be what you intended it to be in College...

Figure now that I'm done with my first year of grad school that I should be updated. No longer working in a warehouse. PhD student in English literature, focus on early medieval lit (predominantly Old English and Old Norse).
