ky wonder Valued Member United States 61 Posts	Posted 08/04/2011 9:17 pm what are the value of these coins, I have these two coins it looks better than the photo but it does show some wear as well as a nice alabama, this will grade in my novice opinion very well, I showed it to one of the traveling hotel treasurs buyers last dec and he made a pretty strong offer so I decided just to set it back in the gun safe Report this Post to the Staff

I say up front that your photography is not sufficient to grade these coins ... primary areas to improve upon are the angle ... shoot them straight down rather than the acute angle you have shown here .... and the focus ... which might be a result of #1 (angle). That said ... these both appear to be genuine and lovely classic US silver commemorative. I can see circulation wear on both ... so for conversation sake lets assume it's minimal (need better photos) and both grade AU55. In that grade the Stone Mountain is worth appx $50 ... and the Alabama is worth appx $150. Thanks for sharing.
