I see areas that could have some rub, but that might just be the images. I see this coin as either an AU58 or an MS63. With the small hit on the cheek, I wouldn't go higher than MS63.

Beautiful coin!

Wow...beautiful coin! I'm no good at MS grading, but it looks well-struck to me.
Judging by the soft date digits, it's a later die state.
The date caught my eye, because I think I'm seeing evidence of an RPD--undocumented in my Snow guide.

I would guess that it is a MS-63 RD maybe MS-64 RD. Great coin!

Indy, I think it shows a little wear. I guess AU58.

Well, it's in PCGS's hands. I see no wear personally. I am hoping for a 64RD.

I think this is a solid MS64RD, looks great. The obverse has a few hits/nicks but nothing major, no distracting marks, toning. The reverse look amazing, alone, maybe MS66, definitely MS65 from what I see. I'm not sure what wear people are seeing, does appear to be a later die state so the lower hair curl isn't as sharp. Great looking coin.
Rest in Peace

Yeah, I think this is a solid 64 RD at least.

I haven't been following this thread but, I am going to say if PCGS doesn't give it a MS-65RD there is something wrong, that is one beautiful looking coin.

And, I would imagine it looks a lot better in hand.

Well, the verdict is in and I'm ticked!
Those "graders" at PCGS called this 91/Questionable Color.
Can you believe that! Other than the original, blazing mint RD luster on this coin, where is the supposed questionable color?
I have seen many, many AU/MS IHC's and LWC's over a 25 year period and know what a coin with alteted surfaces looks like.
