daveyn Valued Member United States 160 Posts	Posted 08/21/2011 08:34 am Here is a low grade Snow-9 I recently found at a coin club meeting labeled Cud error. It is in fact a low grade S-9 50cent clashed obverse. I have found about 5 of these now at shows and meetings, a lot are just set aside as error coins not knowing of the variety. In hand you can better see the Skirt clash and arm and head, hope to soon have my new 100mm lense, can get better pics then. Report this Post to the Staff

I can see how it was considered a Cud - who would expect a clash from a much larger die, so hard that it permanently altered the Cent die? Report this Post to the Staff
