Made my second Morgan purchase today. Actually, bought 5 of them altogether.
1878
1879
1896
1901O
1921D

My best from today is probably the 1896. It looks AU to me but I will only post the 1878 for now so as to not bug you guys.
Should I send these to get professionally graded or are they not rare enough to bother?

your 1878 has the Reverse of 1879. I would not send them in for grading if it were me in this grade unless it is some type of rare VAM (look in the VAM-200 and up since its a 79Rev)

Ah, yes I was wondering why there weren't 8 feathers. Thanks for that information.

1896 looks common, 1878 looks like it could have a how can I say it without referencing.. missing nostril... your pictures are not good enough for me to really do farther, but it could be a missing nostril. which limits the VAM attribution..possibilities..

Unfortunately I only have my phone camera as I can't find the usb of my digital.
If I get a chance to use a friends I will take a better picture.
