I didn't know that they made the libertad in fractional sizes. America needs to do the same with silver.

I think they make 1/20, 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 5 ozt, and 1 kilogram. Fractional mintage's are seldom over 50k I think. The 1 oz often don't reach 1 million. Some years way less.

I have a 1/10th ounce and 2 Ounce (along with many 1 ounce.)

I love Mexican Silver. I'm always surpised at the low premiums in my area as compared to mintage and premiums on ASEs.

Mind boggling IMO.

I bought my first Mexican piece recently, a gold 2 peso coin. Really cool coin! I might have to pick me up some more in the near future

Where are you at that the premiums are low on the Libertad? I would be all over that. Email me some information on where I can get my hands on some.

Wow! VERY impressive collection there.

Hey, how does one say "HOARD" in Spanish?

Ed_B: hoard = provision

Gotta love the Mexican bullion, for sure. Non-denominated bullion rocks! Mine comes close but you just have more variety. All of my Libertads are from pre-1992. There's just something about them that separates them from the rest of pack.

I have searched, with no success, to find the mintage number for the 2 oz Libertad.
Does any one know what the mintage is for the 2011 2 oz BU Libertad?

Thanks, Libertad. Another word for the 3-dozen or so words in my Spanish language dictionary.

I may get ambitious one day soon and post up some pictures of the 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 centavos. All of them seem to have a wide assortment of silver contents. I think I have about 5 troy pounds or so of .720 coinage. I don't know how much of the other odds and ends I have.

I still need to get my Peace dollar book out and take some pictures of the individual coins and do some grade discussion on them.
Rest in Peace

I think they are done with the Libertad. Finishing up commemorates.

Would anyone else like to post up some of their Libertad? I would really like to see some more. Post your pictures on this thread.

GTallen, I get them at a local shop near my home.

And yes. I buy every single one they get.
