My guess on this round 9 lovely in a bit ... Quote: I could see no reason to not put this one at a 65, and a 66 was not out of the question so I guessed high. And that is why nod is the all-time GTP champ. For the record ... The Gettysburg is PCGS MS65/CAC with absolutely stunning eye appeal in hand. I paid a bit under what I consider full retail price for an average MS65 Gettysburg ... and have an outstanding coin for my classic commemorative set. David

$320.00I have a 1875 S about like yours too. Hope you spent more than my guess, just so mine is worth more. I had a VF 1875 CC I bought in the early 1980's that had some great eye appeal and I paid .....................(drum roll)......... $45.00 for it. Can you believe that?
and I sold it for $60.00 a few years later when I needed some cash along with a slew of VF to AU Seated halves and I could really kick myself for doing that.

Jango, that was pretty observant of you to notice that the purchase date was the same as nickersearcher's coin. But alas, jbuck must have forgotten to change the date. This coin was actually purchased on May 8, 2011. And I thought that I would miss not getting to make a guess on my own coin, but it is just as fun seeing what everyone else thinks!
