I think you did good. It looks like a G-4 and numismedia lists a G-4 @ $120. Nice pickup!

I'd get that for $70 anyday! Bet you could flip it for $115-$130

This just shows you that a lot of the time ebay listings do better when it starts out at a lower bid. I was the only bidder because of the high start price.

i bought one 2 years ago for $90, about the same condition and I thought I had a great deal. apparently yours was a bit better

hard to say. I think it is because there is a small mark beneath the feathers that really stood out in the ebay pic. I wonder if people thought it was a removed MM?

Interesting that a seller with 35,000 auctions would do that. Maybe they have such a high volume that they just set the initial bid at the minimum they'll accept and as long as someone pays at least that they are happy.

I currently have a 1915P for sale on ebay but I think yours is much nicer and, most importantly, problem-free.

I recently had a G-6 - VG-8 with full a rim on both sides for sale for three weeks and with no buyers I gave it back to the wholesaler. I was asking $120.00 for it.
