Fads come an go you guys are right about that. But a rare gold or silver coin in real good condition that is, lets say 1 to 2 hundred years old or older, I think will always be viewed in high regards and hold some decent value. At Least by the remaining hardcore collectors that were in it well before it became the so called "in thing" to be investing in, an will be in it long after the economy recovers, if it ever does, and the "make a quick buck guys", have all moved on to greener fiat pastures. And even if G $ S pulls back multi hundreds, many will believe in their ability to repeat the climbs again in the future, and perhaps go beyond....
