I had to look at this sideways. The obverse says SAN MARC VEN. This Translates into Saint Mark's in Venice, Italy. I have a couple of Venetian coins and this one looks nothing like them. My best guess is this may be a church token for Saint Mark's Cathedral.

The reverse says "DALMA ET ALBAN" - it's from "Dalmatia & Albania", the name of the Venetian-controlled territories along the coast of what are now Croatia and Montenegro. It's not ancient - 1500s, maybe 1600s from memory.

It's also not terribly rare - I have the same thing, although I'm just now getting around to attributing it.
