I agree with the MS-64DMPL that thing looks like a Mirror, if you send it to ANACS (like I think you usually do) I think that have a Ultra Deep Mirror Prooflike designation and it may fall into that category if the fields look as good as they do in those pictures

Oh, you have really gotten under my skin now.

The fields are the only thing keeping me from slobbering MS65 on it. The coin is obviously PL, but obtaining DPL is not so easy these days, if my experience is any indicator.

Rick,
This isn't my coin(YET).I was was wondering what it might grade as I have problems grading DMPL coins.Oh.and I keep my coins in a heavy box made of steel, not a light one.

This is a toughie, TLS5933. Is it DPL, or just PL? The difference between the two is more than double the value for this coin. MS64PL you should be able to snag for $100 or less, and the DPL requires something north of $200. It is plainly obvious from the pics that this coin is a very high-end PL if it isn't DPL, and therefore worth a bit of a premium.

If it makes 65, the increase for PL is negligible but for DPL it triples.

So, you've gotta decide just how bad you want this one. For my money, I think I'd make a stand at about $125-130. I don't know how I'd react if the price went much over that, but I think I could get caught in a bidding war for this one.

Dave, I decided I wanted this coin and was willing to take a big chance and pay a premium for it if I had to.As you stated there is a big value difference between PL & DMPL. I was pretty sure it was DMPL but the grade as far as MS63 or MS64 changes the whole picture again. As in MS63 value is $90 and MS64 is $295 and also another question I had would be if this coin would make Cameo? Anyway, its all mute at this point.I bid $202 four seconds before it ended and lost by less than a dollar.
Oh Well, sometimes you the windshield...sometimes your the bug.

That was a bit too much anyways, in my opinion. I pulled the prices I quoted you directly from recent actual Heritage Auction results. Pops for that coin are fairly high, so it won't be the last one you see.

The beauty of the current selling environment is that there will almost always be another one, if you miss the one today.
