1858 Cent With Both Obverse & Reverse Clash

D Pillar of the Community Canada 899 Posts	Posted 09/27/2011 6:58 pm This 1858 large cent has what looks to be a die clash on both sides. On the obverse side it is through the last A in GRATIA and directly opposite it goes to the center stem of leaf #14 on the reverse side. west- canuk Valued Member Canada 497 Posts	Posted 09/27/2011 8:27 pm Excellent pictures, the reverse die crack is Zoell L1s and the obverse die crack is L1h , although your pictures seem to indicate these are later in the life of the dies and therefore larger. Report this Post to the Staff

The first two pictures were taken in the wrong and poor light conditions, here's pictures that reflect the true color of the coin and show the die cracks better. Thanks again..
