Thanks again guys and I am always skeptical of ebay rolls as well. In fact this is the first time I got exact what I was looking for out of an ebay roll. Other members have done very well with rolls but not I. As far as value I would guess in the $500 range. |

Very nice find. To help you confirm it as the CONECA listed 76S clad PR DDR-001, here are a couple of markers from the Stage A discovery half...Obverse, die scratch on rim above the R in LIBERTY, and on the Reverse, small die gouge from rim under the bottom H of HALF.   |

Congrats Wil. Really nice looking DDR. (And thanks for the marker images Larry. Wonder why VV didn't include images of those markers?) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

Yea Pete that is weird about the markers. It's hard enough to find markers on a proof anyway. Thanks again guys. I've got a few more coins I got recently but haven't had time to post. I did look up the rarity of these and PCGS has 15 graded. Only 2 in DCAM.

So this one was a big surprise. I thought they would detail this coin because of the scratch on the obverse. I sent it in anyway because only 8 of these exist. It came back straight graded a PR66. In the $1000 range.

must have nice eye appeal for them to ignor scratches, awesome find! always keep my eye out when I get rolls but the bank is few inbetween with rolls lately
