I recently got a roll of Walking Liberty halves from MBarr for $197. Got some nice dates like the 1934-D, 1934-S, 1935-S, 1938, and 1939-D, as well as a worn slick one that I believe was a 1920, but I got at least two that were cleaned, one of which was very obviously so. MBarr offered me a $6 refund.

But, in the second sentence, you said you got some nice dates and then go on to mention a sick and a couple of cleaned coins. Wouldn't this range of dates/conditions be expected in a roll of junk silver? Just curious why a partial refund was issued?

I got a roll of Washington quarters for a little over 19X a couple of weeks ago. The older the year, the worse they got, but I did get a couple of '64s in extremely nice condition. I only bought the lot for free shipping to get an ASE at spot from a distributor.

Got 17 1971 S uncirculated 40% Ike's for $8 a piece, and 2 modern commems for $20 each. Neither of which are quite junk silver but they were kind of sold as such.

@Khromtau -
I picked up a few commem dollars last week at 20 each as well.
Funny because the issue price was 19.95 on these 30 years ago :)
If nothing else, they'll always be worth melt

For the commems? A constitution bicentennial and a 1984 LA XXIII Olympiad. The Ike's are well, Ike's.

Dowhat - you paid a fair price given the premiums these days. Last week - with spot hovering right on $23 - a guy I know offered me common date circulated 90% dimes at 22x each or by the roll. I said "no thanks". I never go over spot on 90% so I was expecting 16 or 17x. He said "hey, that's the going rate". I said "ok keep going".

Got $10 face Franklin halves for $192.00 ebay last week from Mbarr, they sent me a reduced offer. Descent price considering ebay and PayPal fees. They arrived today, like them.
