The reverse at first looked like a temple to me but I think it is an altar. Denomination is copper As and dates from around AD90 give or take. Report this Post to the Staff

Sear 2663 Domed Temple of Vesta in the forum with 4 columns. The legend though barely visible shows CAESAR AVG .... This makes it a Domitian as Caesar type and the temple conveniently fits right in. A shame about the condition Sear lists $280 in F and $720 in VF. Still might fetch a 20 as a rare variety Report this Post to the Staff
