Do I Have A Real 1937 D 3 Legged Buffalo Or Not

jd2243 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 05/16/2007 7:26 pm I have a question. I have a coin (I think) it measures almost 3cm It is also maybe 12 cm in diameter. I really don't know if it is a coin or just a medallion. It is an Indian head and has a 3 legged buffalo on it. I am not sure just by looking around on the net if I have anything or if it is just another trinket. It has the year 1937, all the markings for the 1937D but I am skeptic because of its size. I have personally had it over 30 years do you think it is just a trinket? I have a pile of them of the 09S VDB Cent, Buffalo nickel, Roosevelt dime, etc. Used to get them from a gas station around here for $1. Now selling at the coin shows for $3.
