hi all hope everyone had a great xmas break
well I saw a listing for the 1966 card with no staples are there 2 types one with and one without I have a card with staples and a price sticker of $1

Yes, you can find the 1966 cards with staples and without. From what I've seen on ebay the ones with staples seem to outnumber by a fair margin the ones without staples. I don't know whether there is any formal data anywhere on the mintage relativities between the two.

Not authoritative but I haven't come across anything else indicating who put the staples in. It is also not uncommon to see tape across the top of the cards as well to hold them together. I can't imagine that the RAM would have issued items with tape but you never know.
