Want To Start Selling Coins On Ebay, Have Some Questions

How much does it typically cost to ship a single coin in the United States, factoring in packaging and shipping costs? Does it typically yield better returns to charge for shipping or to offer free shipping? If it helps, most of the coins I will be selling (at this point at least) are on the lower-end value-wise, worth maybe 1-5 bucks a piece. Stuff like Buffalo nickels, Indian Head cents, proof sacagaweas, and proof Kennedy halves. Any other tips would be much appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Free shipping is not only a draw to customers, but it also means they can't complain about shipping costs, which is commonplace no matter how much you charge. Shipping should be $2 at the most for coins like this, you should be able to send it with a stamp in an envelope. Report this Post to the Staff

I sold a bunch like that last year and every single coin arrived safely. Just make sure that you package the coin well. Just make sure that you factor in the ebay and paypal fees somewhere.
