1881 Large Cent - Line To Left Of Last 1

Wondering if the line to the left of the last one is the result of a die clash or.....? Hope the image quality is OK. Any other comments re grade variety value welcome. Thanks in advance. okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5598 Posts	Posted 04/20/2015 2:11 pm Die clash, but I always thought that it was the hair ribbon. If it is single serif, it's a true true keeper. On many of these 1881's the glare at 3:00 & 9:00 make the serifs indistinct. Since it is BOTH N serifs that are missing half of the left foot, it looks like the N in Canada is full, so Regina may be as well. Report this Post to the Staff
