I hoped you might help me to find out if this is a real cromwell coin or a reproduction. From the pictures, it appears to made from copper - nickel, not silver. The style has all of the characteristics that suggest that it was produced in a modern coining press. The definition of detail is poor and the field either side of the head is dimpled. Look for a mould line around the edge of the coin. If there is one, then it is definitely a cast fake.
