Enlarging Lens Mount Removal

wizzy. if you applied a lot of force. it never moved make sure that it is not rusted in place. if there is no rust and be very careful. take a flat tip screw diver. put it on one knot. place it AT 45 degree angle in the knot. tap the end of the screw diver with a hammer. not to hard make sure that you are loosing it. rightie tightie leftie loose. that should start it loose. that is how I would do it. I worked a lot of steel erection over the years. wizzy do you have a spanner tool. if you do put the flat tipps in the knots stick another screw low down next to the lens and start turning slowly. that will give you a lot of mechanical advantage.

I had the self same problem just yesterday with 105mm enlarging lens I ordered. I'm sure there must be a proscribed method of doing it but I just ended up using a flat head
screwdriver and popped it off. It didn't pop off easily though and want bent when it finally came loose. No apparent damage to the lens. I wouldn't recommend this method though as I'm sure there's a better way to do it without taking a chance to damaging the lens.
