1966-P-1-DO-001 Early Die State? - Coin Community Forum

The more coins that were struck with the variety would eventually wear down the die diagnostics to the point where they become non-existent. See how mushy your strike is becoming? The doubling is still noticeable but on areas like the date and motto, it's becoming a little soft. Therefore a little bit of LDS. Btw, nice coin, I've always wanted one of these!!
