I think I have seen the reverse before hence I think Roman.

Over at http://cointranslator.com/ I can see it may be
Domitian, Diocletian or Gratian? As I can make out the 'TIAN'

Other than that I have really no idea and havent yet jumped into the Roman waters fully.

Reverse type is likely Tyche standing left, holding cornucopia, her right hand resting upon a rudder,

It is a potin tetradrachm of Diocletian from the Alexandria mint. I can't read the date which is at the bottom right of the coin. It appears that it has been tooled a bit or perhaps harshly cleaned. Ref: Milne 4821.

Catalogue of Alexandrian coins by J.G. Milne. If you can find a copy it's pretty expensive.
