Has anyone tried the Tesoro Cibola detector? I have read the reviews on Metaldetecorreviews.com and it sound like people love the machine. It does not have a display or any of the bells and whistles, but it sound as if the money and effort was put into making an amazing machine. It has a 4.9 out of 5 star review, and the only negative review was that they had a little trouble pinpointing on a wet salty beach. At only $340 I'm considering buying one. Plus it has a lifetime warranty.

I have heard nothing but good things about this machine. If you absolutely need a visual display then this machine may not be for you. That being said here is something else to concider. I have the Whites DFX and love the machine. When I first got it I relied on the display a lot. But over time I paid more attention to the sounds I got and there are sometimes I don't even look at the display. If you rely totally on visual you may miss a lot more than listening to what the md is telling you.
