coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/17/2016 1:43 pm The is Die Deterioration. It was very common on the Zincolns and even the shield cents show a bit of it on the reverse. No premium for these, just a common even on those dies. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/17/2016 1:58 pm I like that term a lot better. But it is so common on the cent dies, it does not make them worth a premium. I'll have to fix up a teaching aid with that term. (funny that was something I always had in the back of my mind.
