Hello! I made a super rookie error and cleaned this dime a while ago but it wont stick to a magnet. I am pretty sure its silver. I would love to get some help with the grade though...?
I agree with Bigsilver. Even though Coins and Canada gives a value of $4.30 for an F-12 I doubt anyone would pay much more than BV for any '64 that wasn't at least AU given that 49 million of them were struck. All Canadian 10 cents 1920 -1966 were 80% silver BTW. So I don't think you did too much harm cleaning an F-12. You may as well dip it now and see if that black crud will come off.
Does anybody else cringe a little bit when you see a 2x2 flip without the staples flattened?
