Perfect Error Valued Member United States 477 Posts	Posted 11/29/2017 07:31 am Would this be considered Hub Doubling at the "IN"? I reviewed Wexler's Die Varieties for 1995 but I did not see it listed. I did read about Hub Doubling but I am not sure if this applies. Any thoughts? Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

I don't see it so far. But with just those two devices showing this, that maybe a possibility. Look to see if you can spot any gray color on the right side of those devices? Rotate the die to punch the I of IN that way and the secondary N would be situated toward the center of the coin Report this Post to the Staff

Something trapped in between the plating and core caused it to move under pressure of strike.
