Possible Doubled Die Reverse / DDR Or MD On A 1984 Quarter

Jpfaff40 New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 06/24/2018 2:12 pm I found a quarter with what appears as doubling or md on the er in quarter and ar in dollar. Any help would be appreciated. On this quarter the errors dont make the letter bigger, and it has shelving. I'm still so confused to MD and DD. Ones I thought were nothing, people said were dd. Ones I thought were md were in fact dd. I'm never gonna get it until I get one that is as clear as the nose on my face like the 1955 DDO LMC. Report this Post to the Staff

That is how much spread this has compared with a normal die. This has nothing to do with the striking of the coin, the doubling is on the die. Each reverse will look just like this one with the reverse that is doubled. Report this Post to the Staff
