I have questions about several different Wheat cents, been going through all of mine. I am putting them all on one feed, I hope you don't mind.

First, I have 3 different 1957 D Wheat cent with a "blob" between the B-E on "Liberty." Is this common, or an error?

Next, on one of those 1957 D's that has a blob, also has a blob on the date ...on the nine, is that from wear?

Third, there is a trail from the Date to the mint letter on this Wheat cent 1952 D. Again, is this from wear?

Lastly, I wondering if this 1934 D is an RPM?

The blobs as you say are actually called Die Breaks They are considered BIE (B Blob E) errors and very common in the 50"S more they are common on most wheat cents. Here is a link to Cuds-On-Coins.com website where they have the attributed BIE errors.Tons of info on this website.

The 1952D has a die crack running from The D to the 9.

But they're still a keeper. The 1934 D Lincoln Wheat cent shows Machine Doubling on the mint mark. I can tell, because the device is reduced, and it's shelflike in appearance. http://www.error-ref.com/machine-doubling/
