I've finally got to the end of my work season and have time to look at pennies again. This one isn't a major rotation but I think these are much less common on shield cents. It's the first one I've found with any rotation. What about you guys gals?   |

Nice find! Even though it's a minor rotation, you still don't see these happen too often, since quality control is very good now.

Thanks man. About the QC, they have really stepped it up. Hardly any errors on the 2018s I don't even magnify them anymore, just look for clashes

You're very welcome and no problem Will! I have hardly found any errors on 2018 Lincoln Cents. I've only found minor Die Clashes, and minor Struck Through errors. The only error coin that I would consider a "major" error, is the 2018 P LSC With Cracked Copper plating I've found this year in a OBW roll of 2018 P LSC's. http://goccf.com/t/319890&whichpage=1Errers and Varietys.

Will that is a really good one - don't think I have ever seen a shield rotated die. Nice Job!

Seems like after the 2015 doubled die fiasco there hasn't been any strong doubling. 2016 Wddo-015 is nice but after that..........

The Doubled Dies after 2015 and 2016 has sucked. My favorite Doubled Die Obverse from 2016 is WDDO-015. Hopefully, there will be a major Doubled Die next year, or the year after. Errers and Varietys.
