Hello! I'm not seeing anything special going on with Your coin. It just looks heavily circulated. No errors or varieties. Happy hunting!

If it were an overstrike of a 1938 quarter, it would be silver. A normal 1966 quarter is CuNi clad. What is the weight and can you see copper on the edge?

The wear looks like that of a well-circulated clad quarter.
